The overall objective of the workshop is to promote, improve and publicise the implementation of the Operational Safety Management (SMS) system in air traffic service providers in the South American region, clearly identifying the main challenges States and service providers then take on one-off activities to address identified challenges that facilitate and expedite the implementation of the ATS SMS.
